IAIDQ Board of Directors and Advisors:

Arnt-Erik Hansen
Vice President Member Services

Arnt-Erik Hansen

I was born in Norway on October 12, 1964 where I grew up in a small community, Sjøholt, with less than 2000 people. My wife, also from Sjøholt, and I moved from Norway in 1993 and settled down in Zurich, Switzerland where I have been working for UBS, a financial institution. Both our families still live in Norway which gives us a holiday target with excellent recreational quality. We have two princesses at home, 4 years and 15 months (at Dec 2006), keeping us very busy.

I received a Bachelor's degree from the Norwegian School of Management in 1994. During my years with UBS I have had extensive internal and external training in a variety of areas.

My experience is split between financial accounting, credit risk administration, credit risk management and control, and managing / leading both local and global teams and projects.

I enjoy playing the bass trombone and the alphorn, reading books, playing with my kids and see myself as a social person with great interest in changing the world we live in for the better.

In my current position (since 2000) as Head of Global Partner Data in UBS, I am promoting quality in all its flavors as one of the major success factors to achieve excellence. My responsibilities include exploiting synergies in the Partner Data domain throughout the organization and processing quality information is an integral part of our discussions. The biggest challenge is changing the culture (thinking) and making sure that we together can secure one of the most valuable assets we have data and information.
