Grant Robinson

Grant Robinson, is a natural resource scientist working for the Department of Water and Energy in New South Wales, Australia. He
has over 20 years experience analysing and managing information, particularly
forestry and water resource data.
After years spending time on data cleansing and rework, Robinson now facilitates a continuous improvement program, that focusses on measurement, data gathering and management of water resource data, underpinned by ISO9001 certification. In other words, get our data quality right the first time! He sees good information and management practices as critical to sound decision-making for Natural Resource Management.
Following the passage of the Australian Federal Government's Water Act in 2007, Grant looks forward to exciting times as the Australian states contribute to and implement new national water information quality standards.
Grant is an Australian living in the Blue Mountains 80 km west of Sydney, Australia.
